Deliciously healthful!
|
| | | | Cooking Light with Lotsa Flavor is dedicated to the art of preparing deliciously healthful, nourishing and flavorful meals with recipes that reflect the timeless culinary traditions from around the world. Serving the Inland Valley and foothill communities from our base in Claremont, California, our specialty is low-fat seafood, vegetarian and vegan fare, but we can accommodate a wide range of dietary needs and preferences. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and lots of love!
We bring you these tasty gifts in several different ways: We will prepare sumptuous home-cooked meals for your family, right in your own kitchen. We will provide cooking classes in your home or you can attend one of our classes in the local community. We will organize cooking parties for your friends or for your office -- your choice of dishes -- we all cook together then enjoy the fruits of our labor. Or let us provide the food for an unforgettable dinner party or other social event. Just invite the guests and we'll do all the rest!

Cooking Light for Summer with LotsaFlavor
|
 | | | Our August 7th class will feature avgolemono soup | | | | Summer is a great time to start eating light with flavorful dishes fixed with fresh fruits and vegetables and seasoned with garden-fresh herbs. Learn new cooking techniques to jazz up your parties and your daily meals, while meeting new, like-minded friends. A fun and delicious experience that will enhance your life!
Classes are (optionally) hands-on, so everyone who wants to will get a chance to participate -- beginners and experienced cooks alike. Or, relax and watch--and ask all the questions you would like! All cooking classes are approximately 2 - 2 ½ hours in length during which we will prepare healthy, fun food that we will all enjoy when the class is done!
Our recipes will be "mostly meatless," which means they can be fixed as vegetarian dishes or with modest additions of meat or fish, as you prefer. We'll use the best ingredients (organic, whenever possible) some of which will be from my own kitchen garden. Our emphasis will be on flavorful, healthy food that is lower in fat, higher in complex carbohydrates, and easy and convenient to prepare. Advice will be shared on where to find exotic ethnic ingredients right in our local area. Click here for schedule & registration form
